Eligibility Criteria & Scholarship Amounts for 2016-2017 SAEP Students
The San Antonio Education Partnership (SAEP) offers the cafécollege Scholarship to students at the 25 SAEP partner high schools. Road to Success (R2S) College Access and Success Advisors at each high school will guide students to meet the cafécollege scholarship eligibility criteria.
Complete, sign, and submit the cafécollege Scholarship form by March 31 (to an SAEP College Access and Success Advisor)
Achieve an 80 average upon high school graduation (Inclusive: 9-12 grades)
Attend three (3) college success activities (see activities list below) and submit proof to an SAEP Advisor
Demonstrate financial need with a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) form and providing a Student Aid Report (SAR) by May 31
If eligible for the cafécollege scholarship, you must attend one (1) cafécollege scholarship activation seminar
Scholarships are contingent upon funding availability and may only be used at the following participating colleges and universities:
San Antonio Community Colleges ($600/year) – Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip’s College, and San Antonio College
San Antonio Public Universities ($850/year) – Texas A&M University-San Antonio, University of Texas at San Antonio, and University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
San Antonio Private Universities ($1,500/year) – Our Lady of the Lake University, St. Mary’s University, Trinity University, and University of the Incarnate Word
College Success Activity Guidelines
Students are required to attend three (3) college success activities, as detailed below:
1. Students MUST attend at least one (1) College Success Workshop at cafécollege.
